Jaylo, speaker at Repsol's Maritime & Seafarers Transport Safety Conference

Jaylo participated as a speaker at the Maritime & Seafarers Transport Safety Conference organised by Repsol at its Campus in Madrid on 7 May 2026. A forum that brings together each year the main stakeholders involved in the company's maritime logistics, and in which Jaylo took the floor for the first time to share its processes and standards in the field of safety.

Sergio Alquézar, Jaylo's head of maritime transport, presented a practical case study of the operations developed in collaboration with Francisco González Nieto, manager of Repsol's plant in Palencia. A logistics chain that begins at Repsol's production facilities in Palencia, passes through a cross-docking process at Jaylo's headquarters in Tudela —where the goods are transferred from a tautliner truck to a container— and culminates with the delivery of the container at the port of Valencia.

Throughout this entire chain, every movement is monitored, documented and executed to the highest standards of quality and safety. A philosophy that Jaylo shares with Repsol and that Francisco González summed up clearly during the conference: safety is non-negotiable.

Jaylo would like to thank Repsol for organising such a valuable event, contributing to building a safer and more professional logistics industry.
