Jaylo obtains the GDP certificate for the transport of pharmaceutical products

Our company has recently obtained the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) certificate that accredits good practices in the distribution of pharmaceutical products within the EU.

This new certification guarantees compliance with all the sector requirements, for the correct transportation of medicines for human use, their safety or traceability, among other requirements, in respect to the current legislation.

The origin of this regulation dates back to November 2013, when the European Commission approved directive 2013 / C 343/01 which sets out a series of guidelines on correct drug distribution practices. Among some of these requirements, one of the most important is that the transport of this type of merchandise must be safe and adequate to maintain the optimal conditions of the product throughout the logistic process.

Medicines are a highly sensitive merchandise, among other reasons because many of them require a controlled temperature for their conservation. This means that the regulations place special emphasis on temperature monitoring, as well as cleanliness and safety during transport.

By obtaining this certificate, issued by Bureau Veritas, Jaylo expands its portfolio of services, adapting to the demands of the sector and ensuring, as always, the highest quality in each of our services, as well as the commitment to satisfaction of each of our customers.
